2y = 4(x-10)
y = [tex] \frac{4(x-10)}{2} [/tex]
y = 2(x-10)
x+y=814
x + 2(x-10) = 814
x+2x-20 = 814
3x=814+20
3x= 834
x = [tex] \frac{834}{3} [/tex]
x=278
y=2(x-10) =2(278-10) =2 x 268=536 ⇒ y=536
