I still remember it perfectly, as though it happened just yesterday. I was in London and it was such a hot day that I decided the best thing to do was to go out and take a walk. And where is the best place to take a walk through London where you can get a few moments of peace? Parks, of course. I got a bus to Regent's Park, as it was pretty far away from my house yet one of my absolute favourite parks in the world, and I got there in no time. After a short stroll through the park, I decided on a bench and sat down, opening the book I was halfway through and starting reading. I could hear children laughing around me and people talking, but I couldn't feel any more relaxed. Then, not long after I sat down, someone hummed slightly above me and interrupted me from my peaceful reading. It was a young boy, around my age. He apologised for doing so but asked if he could sit down, and I couldn't jut say no, it would've been terribly impolite. So he took a place next to me and couldn't resist long before talking to me again. We discussed for a while and when we started getting really comfortable with each other, we decided a walk couldn't do any bad. So we walked, talked, laughed and had such a great time. When lastly it was evening, we exchanged phone numbers and hugged, now good friends. Ever since then, we've been the best of friends and I simply couldn't live without him, although I'll never admit that to him. I still have some pride left, you know?
